SIC (US 1987) : Creating a better tomorrow for our community by encouraging the celebration of art and culture, treasuring our desert environment, assisting those in need, and encouraging lifelong learning.
FCF (Foothills Community Foundation) is a unique partnership that brings support, opportunity and community service to the Desert Foothills.
FCF currently addresses community needs through community service projects, cultural programs, and the support of education. These are provided by FCF's programs including Desert Awareness Committee, Desert Foothills Theater, Mindquest, Visual Arts Lecture Series, Partners in Education, the Holiday Project, Holland Art Gallery and programs at Holland Community Center.
FCF continually looks to the future of our desert foothills region. in 2015 a community needs assessment was completed in conjunction with ASU's School of Community Resources and Development. The study results were shared with the community, and FCF continues to facilitate discussions as to how we can meet the needs identified as a community.
Our programs - Theater, Community Center, Partners in Education and Desert Awareness, continue to thrive and grow, and we are always mindful of how to invest in needed services in a sustainable way.
